Back to the Underground & Mr. BIG† The Next Big Thing*: Bboy Festival Location: Metro Hall Square, King and John St. Time: 5pm - 11pm Date: August 29th, 2008 Price: FREE Bboying is a Dance, a Culture and now… Also a SPORT! The 15 best bboys of Toronto will go up against the 15 best of Montreal in a 1 hour gruelling battle, broken up into four 15 minute quarters, to determine which city has the best Bboys! Performances by Toronto’s Freshest Dancers, MC’s and DJs sponsored in part by NXNE Cyphers and Multiple Bboy Competitions!

The BIG Battle:
The Next Big Thing* Battle will be a dynamic clash between top bboys from two of Canada’s most bboytalented cities, Toronto and Montreal. Each team will be composed of the cities best dancers, all ready to show their skills to represent their city. One city will reign supreme as they are evaluated by the B2DU judging system based on creativity, dynamics, execution, fundamentals and battle strategy. The MVP of the battle will be crowned MR.BIG† by showing his talent as well as his ability to work with the team and show a positive attitude through good sportsmanship.

Open Cyphers & Multiple Bboy Competitions
Multiple smaller competitions will go on throughout the day at, such as MR. BIG† MOVE and MR. BIG† FLAVOUR. The secondary bboy dance floors constructed on the festival grounds (not on stage) will have bboy dancing as a focal point for most of the day amidst the other attractions and art forms at the festival.
