The Better Living Center

For two years running, Back to the Underground held a one on one competition at the CNE’s Better Living Center for the Molson Indy Grand Tuner weekend. Cars, models, races and bboys all created an exciting atmosphere that captivated a diverse crowd who had the opportunity to witness these epic battles.

The battles were by invite-only; clashing some of Toronto and Montreal’s best dancers in a head to head competition for the championship title, the trophy and cash prizes.

A large audience of dancers came to watch, but spectators of the Grand Tuner were also fascinated and rallied around to observe the spectacle. The crowd pushed their way to the front to get a better look at this magnetic event. With pride on the line, each of the dancers came out with their best moves trying to out do their opponent.

Each year this event pleased and captivated the crowds, many of which had never seen this art before. The success of this event was not just the exciting battles or the dynamic show put on, but the exposure to the diverse crowd as they all appreciated and applauded the masterful dance artists on stage.
